Black Knight Episode 3 starts by showing what happened to the refugee district nine years ago. 5-8 saved the refugees from the armed men who were trying to kill the group.

At the present time, 5-8 faces Yoon Sa Wol as he asks him to help him become a deliveryman. The legendary knight then tells him to prove himself to pass the competition.
Jung Seol Ah searches for 5-8 after the tracking team says he goes out of the general district. It turns out that he goes to an old training facility for deliverymen alongside others who used to be refugees.
The team investigates the Cheonmyeong Group's scheme, saying that the company has been doing kidnappings and killings to find and kill the mutants. But the conversation gets interrupted as Jung Seol Ah requests a discussion with 5-8 again.

Yoon Sa Wol challenges himself and enters the Gates of Hell, where he finds 5-8 and 4-1. He starts his training but ultimately fails as he challenges 5-8. He registers for the competition while being trained by 5-8 and his team. Although Yoon Sa Wol experiences flashbacks of the District 5-7 case, he makes it to the next round of the selection.
Meanwhile, Jung Seol Ah starts searching for the tattooed men while unveiling the secret of the children of the mine. She also meets Ryu Seok to discuss the company's reassignment plans.
After passing the first round, Yoon Sa Wol shows off his driving skills to 5-8. Several deliverymen, including 5-8, receive an invitation to watch the round to ensure that it will be fair for all.
The second round of competition then begins, during which the hopefuls need to deliver their packages safely to the finish line. While Yoon Sa Wol already gets the chance to be one of the two finalists, he makes an unexpected move amid the competition.
