Black Adam: What to Expect from Henry Cavill’s Superman Return Reportedly Revealed

Henry Cavill's return to the DC Extended Universe seemed like a huge pipe dream a couple of years back but it looks like the British actor is in fact gearing up to make a splashing comeback as Superman after years of "faceless" cameos. As it stands, Cavill is expected to appear in Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson's Black Adam film and as per sources, he's signed on to do more DCEU projects under the Warner Bros. Discovery banner.

Now, a new report gives fans an idea of what to expect from Kal-El's game-changing return to the franchise. According to a new scoop from the oftentimes reliable MyTimeToShineHello, Cavill is indeed back in the DCEU and will appear in Black Adam's post-credits scene. The insider adds that he will wear the classic blue and red Superman suit accompanied by John Williams' iconic score.

The specifics about his cameo weren't disclosed but it is said that Superman will confront the anti-hero, saying: "We need to talk Black Adam". Check it out here:

Now, before you raise your eyebrows The Rock style, it's worth noting that Zack Snyder initially wanted to use Williams' iconic theme and it was actually WB that decided to tap Hans Zimmer to score Man of Steel which to be fair turned out to be a good idea.

As it stands, we still don't know what the future holds for Cavill but if his rumored Superman comeback is actually true, it definitely spells great things for the DCEU moving forward.
