We all know for a fact that Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson's Black Adam film will feature the live-action debut of the Justice Society of America and as cool as it is to see the original heroes of the DC Extended Universe, a lot of fans are wondering if the Justice League will actually show up in the film.

There have been several rumors swirling all over the internet that the multi-time WWE champion is adamant about making a "Black Adam vs Justice League" project in the near future and the upcoming DCEU project could plant the seeds for that to happen. On top of that, multiple insiders have claimed that Henry Cavill's Superman will finally be making his return to the franchise in the film's post-credits scene.

Now, the "Most Electrifying Man" in all of entertainment is finally addressing all the speculation surrounding his grand DC debut. Appearing on Fandango All Access, Johnson tried his best to play coy on the rumored involvement of the Justice League in his DCEU flick. The actor simply said: "I can tell you that we're just gonna have to wait and see."

Despite the current DCEU facing a lot of criticism from diehard fans, The Rock seems unfazed by all the negativity thrown the franchise's way. It's actually quite intriguing but could it be an indication that he knows something we don't? I guess we'll just have to see Black Adam in the theaters to find out but I certainly hope he makes good on his promise.

DC's Black Adam will hit cinemas on October 21.
