Birds of Prey Teaser Could Be Attached to Release of IT: Chapter Two Next Week

Joker is the last DC movie set to come out this year, and early next year will see a return to the main DCEU with Birds of Prey. We've only gotten a look at the costume test for the film, but rumor has it that we could be getting our first official preview sometime next week.

According to Trailer Track, the preview for Birds of Prey(And The Fantabulous Emancipation of One Harley Quinn) has already been rated, and it's likely we could see the trailer come out next week. The site guesses it will release alongside IT: Chapter Two, and it could even be possible that it will see a theater-only release, much like the teaser for Christopher Nolan's Tenet.

If anything, next week would be the perfect time to release the teaser for Birds of Prey. With Joker dominating this week, and Pennywise the next, WB is keeping to the theme of "Send in the Clowns." Why not top it off with a little Harley Quinn?

If the release next week doesn't push through, it's also possible that we could get our first look at Birds of Prey in October alongside the release of Joker. With the movie set to come out early 2020, it would make sense for WB to start promoting the film as early as now. If Solo: A Star Wars Story has taught us anything, promoting the film is half the battle.

Joker is set to hit theaters this Oct. 4, but you can catch Birds of Prey (And The Fantabulous Emancipation of One Harley Quinn) in theaters Feb. 7, 2020. IT: Chapter Two hits theaters Sept. 5.
