February is almost here, meaning we're getting closer to the release of Birds of Prey (And The Fantabulous Emancipation of One Harley Quinn). As it turns out, the soundtrack for the movie is going to be a big deal, and WB has released a trailer for the album.
Here's the full list of songs:
Doja Cat - "Boss Bitch"
WHIPPED CREAM (feat. Baby Goth) - "So Thick"
Megan Thee Stallion & Normani - "Diamonds"
Saweetie & GALXARA - "Sway With Me"
Charlotte Lawrence - "Joke's On You"
Maisie Peters - "Smile"
CYN - "Lonely Gun"
Halsey - "Experiment On Me"
Jucee Froot - "Danger"
K.Flay - "Bad Memory"
Sofi Tukker - "Feeling Good"
Lauren Jauregui - "Invisible Chains"
Black Canary - "It's A Man's Man's Man's World"
Summer Walker - "I'm Gonna Love You Just A Little More Baby"
ADONA - "Hit Me With Your Best Shot"
While a lot of songs look to be original compositions for the movie, it looks like some other songs from the film are going to be covers by other artists. Seeing that Black Canary is also known as a singer in the comics, it was a no-brainer that she was going to have at least one song in the film; much less have one in the soundtrack.
We don't have the Canary version, but you can listen to James Brown's:
Ever since Guardians of the Galaxy, it seems like we're getting more emphasis on the music that's coming out with comic book films. Even Suicide Squad had the hit Heathens. I wonder which song will come out on top for Birds of Prey?
Catch Birds of Prey (and the Fantabulous Emancipation of One Harley Quinn) in theaters Feb. 7.
