Birds of Prey Reaches $200 Million Globally, Which is Double Its Budget

Harley Quinn: Birds of Prey, or Birds of Prey (And The Fantabulous Emancipation of One Harley Quinn), or just Birds of Prey if you want to make things easier for yourself, did not have a great opening weekend. However, the past two weekends have been a blessing of sorts for the film as reports are now claiming that it has gone on to make $200 million, which is double the movie's budget.

Forbes confirmed that the movie managed to make more money over the weekend and will likely continue making more this weekend since there aren't any major releases. Apparently, the movie's only major competition is The Way Back, which is tracking low, and the animated film Scoob, which is a coin flip when it comes to its possible success. This should make fans of the movie fairly happy since they've wanted the film to succeed after it had a fairly disappointing opening.

While not the best superhero movie ever, Birds of Prey is a fine enough film with some solid action and a great soundtrack. A lot of neckbeards hate the fact that Harley Quinn isn't "hot" in the movie, which is pretty damn sexist if we're being honest. Rob Liefeld tried to say it was due to the character's not looking like their comic counterparts but that didn't go well.

Birds of Prey should still be showing in theaters.
