Bioware Should Develop Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic Modern Sequel

There's been a strong resurgence of Star Wars games the past few years, and with the success of titles like Star Wars Battlefront I, Star Wars Battlefront II, and Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order, companies like EA has promised to "double down" on the production of Star Wars videogames.

With the promise of more Star Wars games on the way, Comic Book Resources calls for a modern sequel to Bioware's iconic Star Wars classic, Knights of the Old Republic. A critically-acclaimed Star Wars videogame loved by both gamers all over, Knights of the Old Republic was nominated for numerous awards after its release. However, despite the videogame's success, Bioware only produced one sequel which was released back in 2011.

Seeing the game's iconicity, it definitely wouldn't hurt for Bioware to revisit the franchise and give fans a third installment in the phenomenal Star Wars videogame series. Knights of the old Republic helped establish Bioware as a major player in the videogame industry. In the past few years, the company's reputation has sunk after the release of lesser quality games – reviving its RPG Star Wars videogame franchise would definitely help Bioware elevate its status in the industry.

Star Wars gamers would love to see a modern look on the Knights of the Old Republic. Art graphics today are better than ever, and Bioware's Star Wars videogame series would definitely benefit from the industry's improved technological savvy.
