BIGBANG member G-Dragon has yet to make official appearances before the public. Years have also passed since the all-male group last made a comeback.
But, the K-pop idol has recently made the headlines because of his shocking move. As it happened, he surprised some of his fans in person, according to AllKpop.
A Surprise of A Lifetime
As part of the promotion for his latest collaboration with Nike, Vogue Korea invited some G-Dragon fans on set to record a message for him. While filming and sharing their heartfelt notes for the idol, the BIGBANG member suddenly appeared in front of them.
They almost fell down on the floor upon seeing the South Korean celebrity. They could not seemingly believe that G-Dragon was there to surprise them.
Reports referred to it as the “surprise of a lifetime.”
The idol, later on, went to have a little chat with the fans. He took photos with them and shared his gratitude for their support.
Collaboration Between PEACEMINUSONE and Nike
G-Dragon has various ventures outside the world of K-pop. Apart from the music industry, he is also well-known in the world of fashion.
In 2019, the first collaboration between the BIGBANG member and Nike emerged. It marked the first of his activities following his military discharge.
One year later, he launched the second project with the brand and dropped the new Air Force 1 PARA-NOISE pair.
This year’s pair, Kwondo 1, serves as his third collaboration with Nike under PEACEMINUSONE. He officially released the new product on December 3.
BIGBANG and The Group's Comeback
The all-male K-pop act has yet to release a new album since 2015. They did, however, drop a single, Flower Road in 2018.
Comeback rumors have become increasingly apparent earlier this year. It was when G-Dragon appeared on DAZED KOREA for its 13th-anniversary special edition.
In the interview, he revealed that he had already begun working on new music for BIGBANG. He also stated that he started to work on it soon after returning from the military.
