AMC finally drops the official release date of Better Call Saul Season 6. After two years of waiting, fans will finally see the conclusion of Jimmy McGill’s (Bob Odenkirk) story that turns him into the criminal lawyer Saul Goodman in the critically acclaimed TV series Breaking Bad.

AMC also releases a quick look at Better Call Saul Season 6 at the recent Super Bowl LVI on Sunday, Feb. 13. With only a couple of months away before the final season kicks off, here’s everything you need to know.

Better Call Saul Season 6 Release Date and More

According to Devdiscourse, the sixth and final season will be divided into two parts. The first part will feature seven episodes, premiering on Apr. 18.

After that, the remaining six episodes will roll out on Jul. 11. Although the plotline has been kept under lock and key, co-creator and showrunner Peter Gould and main stars Odenkirk and Rhea Seehorn revealed that Better Call Saul Season 6 would “come full circle.”

The previous season ended with a lot of unexpected turns of events that the final season had to explore.

Like Jimmy, Kim Wexler (Seehorn) is now turning to the dark side to take down Howard Hamlin (Patrick Fabian). The war between Gus Fring (Giancarlo Esposito) and Lalo Salamanca (Tony Dalton) is also turning for the worse after Nacho Varga (Michael Mando) gets caught in the middle of the battle.

Better Call Saul Season 6 Trailer, Teasers and More

AMC has dropped a few trailers for Better Call Saul Season 6 and one of those is a clip that shows Gus in his house, per Screenrant. This is the first teaser featuring Gus—far different from the black-and-white videos that featured Jimmy as Gene or the Salamanca twins.

Though it was brief, it seemed to allude to so many things. He was seen getting some mails as he made his way inside his home and sighed as he closed the door.

Though there are a lot of theories surrounding the final season, no one knows what will really happen in the series. Hence, it’s a mystery how Gus becomes a part of Breaking Bad.

Anyhow, knowing how good the co-creators Gould and Vince Gilligan are, they can surely perfectly connect the sequel to the original series.

By the looks of it, Gus has a major role to play in the final episodes. Odenkirk even reveals the final season is a “challenging way to go to finish the series.”

“It’s not flashy. It’s substantial, and on some level, it’s things I hoped for, for years, in this character’s brain,” he said, via Variety. “What I like about it is, it’s not cheap. It’s not easy. It doesn’t feel cartoonish. It’s pretty great, I think. It’s pretty great.”

“I would wanna end with this kind of character-development focus,” he added. “That’s what it’s about, instead of something that just has guns in it. I guess there’s a few guns, but they’re not like in other episodes.”
