Korean dramas regularly deal with romance, but there are various K-dramas that deal with the law too. Popular Korean legal dramas include Extraordinary Attorney Woo, Law School, and Lee Jong-suk’s comeback drama Big Mouth.

Apart from such, there are other Korean law dramas that are also definitely worth watching. Here’s a list of Korean legal dramas you should watch.

Remember (2015-2016)

In Remember, Seo Jin-woo has a condition called hyperthymesia which allows him to remember everything in detail. On the other hand, his father has Alzheimer’s disease, which makes him lose his memories.

As his father is wrongfully convicted of murder, Jin-woo becomes a lawyer to prove his father’s innocence. He faces many obstacles such as bribery and corruption on the road to justice.

Witch at Court follows the story of an ace prosecutor, Ma Yi-deum (Jung Ryeo-won), who doesn’t hesitate to use illegal means to win her cases.

She gets assigned to the special task force for child sex crimes and works with a newbie prosecutor, Yeo Jin-wook (Yoon Hyun-min).

While initially not very fond of each other, Jin-wook begins to understand Yi-deum when he finds out about her painful past.

While viewers may find themselves shipping for Yi-deum and Jin-wook, the K-drama focuses more on the law (it is a legal drama, after all) and less on the romance. But there are some cute moments to look out for.

Interestingly, actress Jung Ryeo-won also plays a prosecutor in the 2019 K-drama Diary of a Prosecutor, and a public defender in the 2022 K-drama May It Please the Court.

While most legal dramas have lawyers as the main characters, this Korean legal drama deals with judges.

Judge vs. Judge (also known as Nothing to Lose) follows the story of a judge, Lee Jung-joo, who fights to prove the innocence of her older brother who was framed for rape and murder and got killed while trying to clear his name.

There are some plot twists in this K-drama that you won’t see coming, and along with all the legal stuff going around, a little bit of romance between Lee Jung-joo and her fellow judge, Sa Eui-hyeon.

Prosecutor Park Jung-woo is convicted on death row and suffering from temporary amnesia. In prison, he struggles to gain back his memories and prove his innocence.
