Benedict Cumberbatch Wants More Doctor Strange Interactions with Nick Fury

Doctor Strange may already be an Avenger but there are still a lot of superheroes that he doesn't get to work with. Not surprisingly, this is something that Benedict Cumberbatch wants to fix in the Marvel Cinematic Universe. The Sherlock star has just admitted that he wants the Sorceror Supreme to have more screentime with the likes of Nick Fury!

Benedict Cumberbatch recently spoke to Oracle Time where he admitted that Samuel L. Jackson is the one MCU star he wants to have a scene with.

“I’d love to share some screen time with him if he’s still in it. I don’t know anymore. I guess it depends what timeline?" Cumberbatch said. He also shared how he wants to work with Black Widow, who was one of the major casualties in Avengers: Endgame.

"I sadly didn’t have much screen time with Scarlett Johansson and I’d love more with Chris Hemsworth and Tom Hiddleston," Cumberbatch said, adding that he wasn't cast into the MCU sooner.

"The thing is I came very late to the party when Marvel was just celebrating the first decade with that incredible group shot in Endgame,” Cumberbatch said.

We can't really blame Benedict Cumberbatch for wanting to share some screen time with the heavy hitters of the MCU. Although it seems unlikely that he'll get to hang out with Black Widow anytime soon, there is still a chance for Doctor Strange to meet up with Nick Fury, Thor, and Loki. Stay tuned for more updates on this story.

For now, it is still unclear when the third Doctor Strange movie will be announced. In the meantime, Cumberbatch plays Stephen Strange in Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness, which premiered in theaters earlier this year.
