Ben Affleck can play any role on the big screen. He can be a superhero, a CIA agent, a captain and more, but these roles come up with different body transformations.

Ben Affleck’s Diet

The 49-year-old actor’s trainer, Walter Norton, told Muscle & Fitness nutritionist Rehan Jalali specially designed a very specific diet for the star for his role in Batman.

He has minimal carbs throughout the day. He starts his mornings with oatmeal and egg whites and will continue the day with lean protein and vegetables.

For lunch, he will take salad with a double helping of protein and chicken or fish, cauliflower, broccoli or brussels sprouts for dinner.

"We were seeing that in our sleep," Norton said. "Rehan designed a great diet, and Ben followed it to the letter."

Man of Many added Ben Affleck's six-pack regimen was all made by Jalali. He also has to cut out all his dairy, limit his sodium intake to 1,500 to 2,000mg, and eat six meals a day.

He has to consume oatmeal, leafy greens and whole grains as sources of carbs, while salmon, egg whites, turkey, etc are for his proteins.

He also takes supplements, like protein powders and Trembolex Ultrax, a muscle enhancer.

Ben Affleck's Exercise

Ben Affleck has to make sure he's building muscle and not losing too much weight. So to do that, he has to make his cardio to a minimum.

Norton revealed the actor starts his workout with 15 minutes of cardio at the maximum. He can do it either through a quick workout on the elliptical or Airdyne bike sprints.

He also does weight-heavy workouts. But for him to bulk up for his role as Batman, he has to do a series of both bodyweight and free weight-based exercises.

He will do plants, cable rows, pull-ups, lunges and more. He will usually exercise for nearly two hours, divided into three blocks.

"We wanted him to be strong but we wanted to add mass. The volume was higher," Norton revealed, via Eat This. "We lived on a lot of the basics, 80-pound dumbbell curls, heavy-loaded carries, and farmers walks with 60-pound weights."

Ben Affleck has been displaying a great physique with or without his iconic Batman suit. With these routines, it just shows achieving his perfect body is not an easy feat. It takes hard work and determination, proving Jennifer Lopez is one lucky girl.
