Beloved Star Wars Series Returns To Disney+ After Its Sudden Removal

A lot of Star Wars fans received a surprise back in January, when one of the fan-favorite LEGO animated shows that were based on the Star Wars franchise was suddenly removed from Disney+, without any warning ahead of time. Every episode of the series LEGO Star Wars: The Freemaker Adventures was removed from the Disney+ lineup at the beginning of this year. There was no announcement on when the series would be back, or if it would ever return to the streaming service at all. Fortunately, all of those questions have been answered.

This Wednesday, The Freemaker Adventures series was added back to Disney+. The animated series is one of the first few titles on the newly added section on the Disney+ home page, letting the fans know that it is back. All 26 episodes are now back on Disney+, along with five shorts that seemingly never left in the first place.

LEGO’s animated show, Star Wars: The Freemaker Adventures aired for two seasons on Disney XD, back in 2016. It follows the story of a family of scavengers who discovered that of their own is Force-sensitive. The LEGO series was released around the same time as another Star Wars animated series, Star Wars Rebels.

Back when the series was removed, there was no news or any announcement why The Freemaker Adventures was removed from Disney+. Given that the series originally aired on Disney XD, and that the Star Wars franchise is totally owned by Disney, it was quite odd to see the series removed. We still don’t know what happened in the first place for the series to be removed. But at least now, the show is back on the streaming platform for the fans to enjoy.

LEGO Star Wars: The Freemaker Adventures along with other Star Wars animated shows like Rebels, The Bad Batch, and The Clone Wars are currently streaming on Disney+.
