Batman: The Long Halloween Trailer Features Supernatural's Jensen Ackles as The Dark Knight

It has been a long journey for Jensen Ackles but he is finally Batman. The Supernatural star makes his debut as the voice of The Dark Knight in the first trailer for Batman: The Long Halloween, Part 1.

The first trailer for Batman: The Long Halloween, Part 1 opens with Harvey Dent dealing with a dilemma. He struggles with the idea of being a lawyer and a criminal at the same time. It's a huge problem considering that he is looking at a lot of money. That's when Batman suggests that he should figure things out with a coin flip.

Not surprisingly, there are bigger problems for the Dark Knight. James Gordon confirms that the Falcone Crime Family has taken down Johnny Viti and they won't stop there. On the other hand, there are other villains at play here as we get a glimpse of the Joker and Catwoman. In addition to that, there's a killer on the loose.

But this isn't an ordinary killer. Interestingly, he only goes on a killing spree during holidays. Can Batman catch the criminal before it's too late?

Hearing Ackles as Batman is amazing considering that the actor has been vying for the role for a long time. At one point, his character Dean Winchester even makes a reference to the DC superhero in an episode of Supernatural where he declares, "I'm Batman."

Ackles had previously provided the voice of Jason Todd in Batman: Under the Red Hood. Needless to say, we can't wait to hear more of him as the Dark Knight in The Long Halloween, Part 1.

Batman: The Long Halloween, Part 1 will be released in Summer this year while Part 2 is expected to be dropped in Fall 2021. Stay tuned for more updates on this story.
