Batman: Next Arkham Game Could be Announced During The Game Awards 2019

Rumors have been going around about the next Arkham game for a while, and we just got what seems to be a major update.

According to Youtuber Coby – SLCMOF, a trailer for Batman: Arkham Legacy is said to be dropping next month during the Game Awards. Here's his post:

While we should take this news with a grain of salt, an official reveal in December makes complete sense, seeing that we've spent the rest of the year being teased about an upcoming Batman game. Far as we know, this game looks to be having the Court of Owls as one of the primary antagonists, and rumor has it that the entire Bat-family will be playable.

While a lot of people still think Arkham Knight kind of stumbled toward the end, there seems to be a slow-growing appreciation for Arkham Origins. We don't know what WB Montreal has in store for their new game, but I would be open to a vehicle option not just for Batman, but for everyone else on his team; they should just make sure not to overuse it too much because the tank rounds from Knight honestly got infuriating. Not to mention the story needed some fixing as well.

For now, all we can really do is wait for The Game Awards to see if any of these rumors are true. Even then, there's going to be a wait until the game actually releases. My guess is 2022, but fingers crossed we'll actually get it next year.

The Game Awards 2019 takes place on Dec. 13.
