Batman Fans Are Outraged Over Pregnant Catwoman Art Piece

DC fans might have enjoyed DC's little jaunt with Batman and Catwoman, but it looks like Batman comic book writer Tom King may have taken it a little bit too far in his new Batman/Catwoman comic book series.

Promoting Batman/Catwoman, DC decided to take to Twitter to share an art piece of Batman and Catwoman posing together in a prom photo-style embrace on a rooftop overlooking Gotham City. The intimate embrace isn't that much of a bother, but a closer look at the art piece shows that Selina Kyle is visibly pregnant with a baby bump beneath all the latex that she's wearing.

While fans might understand that the Dark Knight might want to announce to the world that his Bat-child is on the way, netizens can't help but feel uncomfortable by the picture.

Responding to the tweet, fans question whether it was really necessary or even possible for a very pregnant Selina Kyle to squeeze herself into a tight latex suit and climb up rooftops when she has a child on the way. There's also the question of Batman allowing Selina to endanger their child that way.

Check out the Tweets down here:

Fans really don't like the picture. Sure, the art piece might be an exaggerated way of announcing Selina's pregnancy, but it really does make one question whether Bruce and Selina would make good parents. It seems like quite a scandal really.

What do you think of the art piece? Feel free to share your thoughts in the comment section below.
