Anime fans have a lot of action-packed shows to look forward to next season. For those who want something a bit more understated, Bartender Glass of God just revealed its April release date in a new trailer.

While the new Bartender anime already got a trailer before, this latest one is the longest yet. It features a preview of the songs and highlights some of the show’s voice cast members.

Bartender Glass of God Cast and Staff Unveiled

This isn’t the first Bartender anime adaptation, as there was the previous show by Palm Studio released back in 2006.

Instead of bringing back the original cast though, this new Bartender anime features a new set of cast members, including:

  • Takuma Terashima (Shiki Granbell in Edens Zero) as Ryuu Sasakura
  • Yoshino Nanjo (Rosetta in My Daughter Left the Nest and Returned an S-Rank Adventurer) as Miwa Kurushima
  • Haruka Shiraishi (Asirpa in Golden Kamuy) as Yukari Higuchi
  • Eriko Matsui (Suzuki in Akame Ga Kill) as Kyоko Kawakami
  • Ryoko Shiraishi (Chocho Akimichi in Boruto: Naruto Next Generations) as Yuri Kinjо
  • Makoto Furukawa (Miyuki Shirogane in Kaguya-sama: Love is War) as Kelvin Chen
  • Naoya Uchida (Askeladd in Vinland Saga) as Ryuichi Kuzuhara
  • Hiroki Tochi (Maine in Cyberpunk: Edgerunners) as Kitakata
  • Mugihito (Yoshinobu Gakuganji in Jujutsu Kaisen) as Taigo Kurushima

Animating the series is Liber, the studio that co-produced The Ice Guy and His Cool Female Colleague.

Directing the show is Ryoichi Kuraya (of Farming Life in Another World fame), and he is joined by Mariko Kunisawa (The Ascendance of a Bookworm), who is in charge of the show’s scripts.

New Bartender Glass of God Trailer Previews Opening and Ending Themes

The show’s new trailer also previews the anime’s theme songs. Performing the opening song Stardust Memory is Takaya Kawasaki, a Japanese singer-songwriter.

Meanwhile, the ending song is titled Spica and it is by Mone Kamishiraishi, the voice of Mitsuha Miyamizu in Makoto Shinkai’s Your Name.

Instead of being a sequel to the original Bartender, the Glass of God anime is a new adaptation, meaning fans who are unfamiliar with the series should be able to watch this without any issues.

As the new trailer revealed, the Bartender Glass of God anime will premiere on April 3, 2024.

In Japan, this anime will air on TV Tokyo. Meanwhile, international fans will be happy to know that the new Bartender anime will be streamed on Crunchyroll as part of the platform’s spring 2024 lineup.

Viewers in the following regions will be able to watch the show on Crunchyroll: North America, Central America, South America, Europe, Africa, Oceania, the Middle East, and CIS.
