Banished from the Hero’s Party, I Decided to Live a Quiet Life in the Countryside is a light novel series that was serialized in October 2017 on Shosetsuka ni Naro, a user-generated novel publishing website. Kadokawa Shoten then acquired license over the light novel and published nine volumes under Kadokawa Sneaker Bunko imprint.
Masahiro Ikeno’s art was used to adapt the light novel into a manga. This medium was serialized in Kadokawa Shoten’s Monthly Shonen Ace. There are now seven tankobon volumes to be collected as of this writing. Wolfsbane and Studio Flad developed the popular light novel and manga into an anime and was released in October 2021.
Banished from the Hero’s Party Episode 9 Details
Episode nine of Banished from the Hero’s Party will be released on December 1, 2021. Those who wish to watch the series can anticipate it on KBS Kyoto, Tokyo MX, AT-X, SUN, and BS NTV. These channels release new episodes every Tuesday at 5:30 PM JST. Unfortunately, only those residing in Japan have access to these channels.
International fans or those residing outside of Japan should not worry as the series is available on Funimation. The streaming site has a trial period for those who wish to watch the series for free. While the series is free to watch, viewers must wait for a couple of days before they can stream the latest episode.
Once the trial period is over, interested viewers must register on the streaming site to continue watching. Membership costs $5.99 per month or $59.99 per year. Members can get exclusive benefits such as ad-free shows, access the anime and manga libraries, and simulcasts one hour after Japan.
For now, the series comes in English subtitles for non-Japanese viewers. Those who prefer to watch anime in English dub will have to wait for Funimation’s announcement.
