The singer-actress appeared as a guest on KBS' television show Entertainment Weekly to talk about her Kdrama comeback, Anna.
Bae Suzy plays lead star Lee Yoo Mi who lived a double life as Anna. In the drama, Lee Yoo Mi suffers from a disorder known as Ripley’s Syndrome. This is also the reason why she created an alter ego that is far different from herself.
According to SBS News, the host was intrigued about the singer-actress’ ageless beauty and was asked "What is your secret to your youthful and mesmerizing beauty, Suzy? Could you please share it with us?"
Bae Suzy laughed and gave a savage answer and said "Well, most importantly, you have to be born with that sort of genes.”
However, she mentioned that she also had days when she did not look her best.
The singer-actress mentioned her debut look when she dons full bangs and often had her high tied in a high ponytail.
"When I made my debut, I had these bangs that looked almost as if a mouse had nibbled at them,” she said, adding “It's kind of embarrassing to say this myself, but a lot of people said that I looked pretty even with those terrible bangs."
