Even prior to its launch, Disney+ is already anticipated by thousands of people with its huge back catalog and tons of new shows to look out for. Add the Star Wars fans who have been looking out for the release of The Mandalorian, it's no wonder that the two would be the talk of the town.

Google recently released its 2019 Year In Search list, consisting of the top searches of this year. These were in separate categories ranging from entertainment, news, and people. The top search for this year was Disney Plus, which isn't at all surprising because of the number of people wanting to subscribe to the streaming platform ever since it was announced.

In addition, the top search in the baby category is none other than the adorable Baby Yoda. This didn't come as a surprise as well considering that the character has stolen the hearts of many The Mandalorian viewers ever since he was introduced in the first episode. Since then, multiple fan arts and fan-made videos got around the net. Baby Yoda got some trending memes too, with his iconic soup-sipping scene and just being adorable, in general.

And although Disney+ is already a big of a topic itself, there's no denying that the Child is one of the main reasons as to why it was a top search this year; especially since people can't stop talking about the baby, hence the popularity, of not just the show, but the streaming service as a whole.

Aside from Disney, Cameron Boyce was also included in the top searches, along with Nipsey Hussle, Hurricane Dorian, and Antonio Brown. And for the baby category, Baby Yoda was followed by Baby Shark, Royal baby, Kim Kardashian's baby, and Cardi B's baby.
