Awkwafina Reveals Shang-Chi and Katy's Future After THAT Mid-Credits Scene

If you've watched Shang-Chi and The Legend of the Ten Rings, there is little doubt you were blown away by the awesome mid-credits scene. But what does it all mean? Awkwafina has teased Shang-Chi and Katy's future after that surprising revelation before the film ended.

In the Shang-Chi mid-credits scene, it is revealed that Wong has transported Shang-Chi and Katy to the Sanctum Sanctorum. It is here that they find Captain Marvel and Bruce Banner. While talking to the other heroes, they realize that the ten rings are emitting a signal to somewhere or someone.

It's an unexpected revelation and although we now know there is a mid-credits scene, Awkwafina refuses to comment on what happened after the credits rolled. "It's so super locked down," she told Entertainment Tonight. However, the Crazy Rich Asians star also stated that fans should expect great things.

"I don't really know what's comfortable to say about that, but I will say that there are a lot of really cool kind of little things that happen in there that are very telling of maybe what's to come," Awkwafina said.

So what's going to happen to Shang-Chi and Katy after The Legend of the Ten Rings? "I think there's a whole life of arts and crafts ahead for Katy and Shang-Chi," Awkwafina joked. "I think they could open their own pottery shop in the Berkshires."

At this point, it's pretty clear that both Katy and Shang-Chi have an important part to play in the MCU's Phase 4. With that in mind, we can't wait to see more of Awkwafina and Simu Liu in the future.
