Avengers: Endgame Theory Says Captain America Won’t Be Sacrificing Himself In The Film

Undoing Thanos' Decimation in Avengers: Endgame isn't going to be easy. Many fans expect one or two major Marvel characters to sacrifice their lives to bring back all those that the Mad Titan turned into dust in Avengers: Infinity War, however, while many name Captain America (Chris Evans) and Iron Man (Robert Downey Jr) as two of the most likely to die in Endgame, a new fan theory says that it might not actually be the case.

There's a new Endgame theory making the rounds on Reddit, and according to the new proposal, it seems highly unlikely that directors Joe and Anthony Russo are going to let Marvel's first Avenger die in their two-part movie.

The directors just wouldn't let Captain America die knowing how that fans are expecting the character to sacrifice himself in the film. After all, the Russo Brothers are known for their propensity for misdirection and for sudden twists and turns.

Ironically though, the Marvel fan behind this theory about Captain America doesn't name any other Marvel characters to die in the First Avengers place. Maybe it could be Nebula (Karen Gillan). Maybe it could be Hulk (Mark Ruffalo). There are a lot of potential replacements in the two-part Avengers movie.

Of course, before Marvel fans start worrying about the lives of their favorite Marvel heroes, they should be reminded to take this theory with a grain of salt. No one really knows what's going to happen in Endgame. We'll just have to wait and see.

Avengers: Endgame premieres April 26, 2019.
