It may be a while before we get an all-woman team-up movie in the MCU, but Avengers: Endgame delivered the best they can with the "A-Force" team-up during the climactic battle scene. Just in, the official Marvel Studios Twitter just shared a BTS photo of all the women of Marvel standing together.
Check it out:
While some people thought that the scene was a tad too fanservice-y, I thought it was actually handled pretty well. I can't imagine anyone complaining if it was a collective shot of all the men coming together to save Peter Parker.
While we have no idea if we're ever going to get an A-Force movie soon, I guess this will be as good as it gets for now. If we do get an all-woman team-up, I think the only way it would make sense would be to introduce new characters like She-Hulk or Spider-Woman with appearances from already established characters. As of now, I can't think of a team-up with the current roster of woman heroes that would make sense from a storytelling perspective.
As of now, the next woman in the MCU to get her solo movie is Black Widow. A lot of speculation is saying the film will be a prequel since she died in Endgame, but I'm hoping this movie actually pushes the story forward this time around.
Catch all these characters in Avengers: Endgame now in theaters.
