Avengers Endgame: Listen to Audience Reaction to Cap’s Mjolnir Scene on Opening Night

Avengers: Endgame is about to hit its 1-year anniversary later this month, and fans are already revisiting the excitement of the film when it came out on the opening day. Thanks to Scott Gustin on Twitter, we can listen to an audience reaction the first time that Captain America picks up Mjolnir in the film.

Check it out:

Gustin had also posted up several other reactions on the thread, from the portal scene, Iron Man’s snap scene, as well as Captain America reacting to his own ass.

Admittedly very few finales manage to stick the landing, but Avengers: Endgame was definitely able to deliver. Unlike Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker which seemed to be mostly focused on retconning The Last Jedi and adding more fanservice, Endgame was able to deliver for fans and even embraced the MCU’s supposed missteps like Thor: The Dark World and Captain America’s tacky costume from the first Avengers.

With Avengers: Endgame becoming a year-old, I’m curious about what Marvel has planned to celebrate their highest-grossing film of all time. While I’m sure there were probably plans to host some kind of big event, I think they’ll just have to settle with some kind of online reveal or Disney+-related promotion.

For now, Marvel Studios has caught a snag thanks to COVID-19 and has effectively pushed back its releases for Phase 4. Now Black Widow, which was originally set to come out in March, is set for a release on Nov. 6.
