Avengers: Endgame hasn't even made its big premiere but it looks like the follow-up to Avengers: Infinity War has already managed to rake in a whopping $169 million at the global box office.
According to a report by Variety, the second entry in Joe and Anthony Russo's two-part Avengers movie is already making it big. The film managed to bring in $107.5 million during its debut in China. It also brought in $8.4 million win in South Korea and then a $7 million haul in Australia. The film also earned $6 million in France. These are just some of the early film markets that Endgame's already opened in.
Tomorrow, the film will finally make its big premiere, opening in the whole international film marketplace along with the US. Domestically, Endgame is set to open in 4,662 theaters with analysts predicting a gross of $260 million during its opening.
Box office experts expect the film to do exceptionally well, predicting to a total haul of $800 million to past $1 billion during the film's opening weekend.
Of course, these numbers shouldn't come as a surprise. Endgame is one of the most highly anticipated films of the year. Not only is the film closing out Avengers: Infinity War, it's also pulling the curtain on the past ten years of the Marvel Cinematic Universe. There's a whole lot riding on the upcoming Marvel movie.
Fans are more than eager to see what becomes of their favorite heroes as the Avengers and everyone else try to undo Thanos' massacre in the movie.
Avengers: Endgame premieres tomorrow, April 26.
