One of the new scenes in Avengers: Endgame Encore features the fate of Bruce Banner (Mark Ruffalo) after Spider-Man: Brand New Day.
It reveals that Bruce has been moved to an impenetrable underground military base, but Doctor Doom (Robert Downey Jr.) proves this wrong by infiltrating the facility and abducting Hulk.
As it remains to be seen what Doom will use Hulk for, it will surely be revealed in the upcoming Avengers: Doomsday, hinting at Bruce’s return.

The altered final scene shows Loki (Tom Hiddleston) visiting Steve (Chris Evans) and Peggy (Hayley Atwell), warning them of the impending doom and establishing how Steve will return via TVA time-slipping or reality-shifting.
The mid-credits scene also shows Mobius and other agents watching the universe collapse, with the multiverse being destroyed in massive incursions.
Doctor Doom’s arrival at Bruce Banner’s underground gamma-suppression bunker reveals what the villain can really do as he comes to “collect” the Green Monster. He teleports them away and leaves a Latverian logo on the floor.
Finally, the end post-credits sequence mirrors the iconic metal-forging audio and visual cues from the first Iron Man, showing flashes of Doctor Doom crafting his signature mask.
