Avengers: Endgame Directors Have High Interest in Wolverine

If there is one character that fans want to see in the MCU after the Disney/Fox merger it's Deadpool, no doubt about that. The next character they would like to see is Wolverine, who has to be the most popular character to ever star in the X-Men series, even if he doesn't have an ongoing comic series right now (though that won't last long).

Well, it turns out that Avengers: Endgame directors Anthony and Joe Russo would like to get their hands on Wolverine. They revealed this during an interview with Fandango, the same place that keeps bugging out when fans try and reserve their tickets for Avengers:Endgame and no one can blame them since Wolverine rules.

"I mean, we've always been huge fans of Wolverine. We certainly haven't been thinking aboutifand when and how we would ever go there, but just off the top of my head, that's a character we've always been passionate about."

Both of the Russos have shown their Marvel fandom before, even wanting to make a movie out of Secret Wars. Granted, they would need a ton of characters to fill that out, some of whom are now back thanks to the Disney/Fox merger, but we shouldn't expect that movie in a long time. At the least, a Wolverine movie from the directing duo sounds amazing.

Avengers: Endgame comes out on April 26. Wolverine won't be in it.
