Avengers: Endgame Book Possibly Teases Surprise Appearance From MCU Phase 4 Character


We're only a few weeks away from the premiere of Avengers: Endgame and some interesting new details about the film may have been revealed. A new book has caught the attention of fans because it appears to be teasing the possible introduction of a character that is expected to play a large role in Phase Four of the Marvel Cinematic Universe.

The book, titled Birth Movies Death: Avengers Endgame, is a collectible that is reportedly "filled with exclusive interviews, eye-popping artwork, deep-dive essays, and all kinds of cool MCU trivia." A quick scan of the images from the book reveals that the strange cocoon that appeared in one of the Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2 post-credits scenes. In the book, it is captioned, "Adam Warlock: The Golden Child."

The second GOTG film already teased on the arrival of Adam Warlock after being created by Ayesha. However, the character has been expected to debut in Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3, which is set to be one of the Phase 4 movies in the next few years. Nevertheless, Adam's inclusion in the Endgame book had people wondering if he will pop up in the film as well.

Of course, it's still possible that there will only be a sly reference to Adam in Endgame rather than an actual cameo. After all, James Gunn has already denied that Adam will be part of Endgame. For now, it would be best to take this with a grain of salt.

The synopsis for Endgame reads as follows:

"The grave course of events set in motion by Thanos that wiped out half the universe and fractured the Avengers ranks compels the remaining Avengers to take one final stand in Marvel Studios' grand conclusion to twenty-two films, Avengers: Endgame."

Avengers: Endgame will hit theaters on April 26.
