Attack on Titan Season 4 Part 2 New Opening Theme Finally Debuts


It's finally here! Attack on Titan: The Final Season is back and it premiered with an awesome surprise for fans. Attack on Titan Season 4 Part 2 kicked off with a new opening theme and it was paired with a dynamic opening sequence that hyped up what will be happening in the anime this year!

Fans were already expecting Attack on Titan: The Final Season Part 2 to start with a new opening theme. After all, the anime was set to follow new chapters of the manga and it would make sense to give the story a new introduction. So it's no surprise that Attack on Titan Episode 76 featured a new opening theme and sequence. Check it out below.

It was previously reported that the new opening theme would be performed by the Japanese alternative metal band SiM. The song is titled The Rumbling and it captures the emotional turmoil that the characters are going through in The Final Season.

The first part of Attack on Titan Season 4 featured the opening theme My War ("Boku no Senso") which was performed by Shinsei Kamattechan. The ending theme is Shock ("Shogeki") by Yuko Ando.

In addition to that new opening theme, Attack on Titan Season 4 Part 2 has a new opening sequence that puts the focus on Eren Yeager. However, it also hypes up the fight between Eren and Reiner Braun and the arrival of the Titans who will join the battle. Needless to say, there is a lot to look forward to in the second half of The Final Season.

The first episode of Attack on Titan Season 4 Part 2 is titled Judgement ("Danzai") and takes place immediately after the events in the anime's Episode 75. The Final Season aired on Monday, January 10, 2022, at 12:05 AM JST.
