Attack on Titan Season 4 Part 2: Episode 81 Delayed


There is little doubt that fans are still reeling from what happened in the latest episode of Attack on Titan Season 4 Part 2. However, it looks like there is a bit of disappointment to look forward to next week. It has just been confirmed that Episode 81 will be delayed next Sunday!

It has been confirmed that Attack on Titan Episode 81 will be pushed back to a later broadcast. Although it will still air in Japan in the early hours of February 14, the episode will be delayed by 20 minutes and will also affect the simulcast broadcast.

But why is Attack on Titan Episode 81 being delayed next week? As it turns out, NHK General TV will be covering the Winter Olympics which is currently underway in China. This also means that the delay will be subject to change depending on the categories being covered that day.

It's a slight disappointment for fans but luckily, Episode 81 will only be pushed back by 20 minutes. With that in mind, people can enjoy the Winter Olympics before digging into the next episode of Attack on Titan next week.

The latest episode of Attack on Titan Season 4 Part 2 was an interesting one as we finally learned Ymir's story as the first Titan. In addition to that, Eren Yeager managed to gain Ymir's support in destroying the world outside of Paradis. This led to the Rumbling finally beginning and as the Walls come down, thousands of Colossal Titans are unshackled and begin their march towards Marley.

Attack on Titan Season 4 Episode 22 is titled Thaw ("Hyokai") which is also the title of Chapter 124 of the manga. Episode 81 will be delayed due to the Winter Olympics coverage and will air on Monday, February 14, 2022, at 12:25 AM JST.
