Attack on Titan Season 4 Part 2 Episode 2 Recap
Marley launches a surprise attack on Paradis, catching them off guard. Onyankopon releases Armin, Mikasa, Jean, Connie, and the others from their prison cell. He updates them on what is happening and asks for their help regarding Eren. He swears that he didn't know anything about the euthanization plan, and Armin believes him. At this point, he and Mikasa have yet to think about Eren's true objectives.
Eren and Reiner begin to fight. Galliard is helping out on the sidelines. After Galliard frees Pieck from her shackles, she becomes the Cart Titan and meets up with Commander Magath and the others to get her weapons. Meanwhile, Yelena tries to tell Eren to retreat since he's at a disadvantage. Eren ignores this and continues to fight Reiner.
Armin and the others release Falco and the rest of the military that drank Zeke's spinal fluid from their prison cells. They gear up to join the battle. Zeke eventually arrives and takes down the airships. Armin, Mikasa, Jean, and Connie wonder why Zeke showed up because they know Levi wouldn't let this happen. Yelena tells them that Zeke must have defeated Levi and the others. Armin tells the rest of his friends that they might as well join up with the Jaegerists, and Yelena thanks them for their help.
Gabi and Colt are off rescuing Falco. While the military prepares for battle, Nile sneakily returns Falco to Colt and Gabi. While the three of them are hiding in a house, they overhear Sasha's family talking about Falco and Gabi. Gabi realizes that there are no devils in Paradis, just people. Falco confesses his feelings for Gabi.
Meanwhile, Eren continues to make his way towards Zeke. Magath shoots Zeke's shoulder, letting him fall off the wall. Tensions are high as everyone tries to prevent Zeke and Eren from making contact.
