Attack on Titan: Hajime Isayama Reveals the Virtues that Eren, Mikasa, and Armin Represent

There is little doubt that Eren Jaeger, Mikasa Ackerman, and Armin Arlert are the heart of Attack on Titan. However, it looks like they were more than just friends who were destined to change the world. Manga creator Hajime Isayama has revealed that these characters actually represented certain virtues in the story.

Isayama recently took part in an interview that discussed everything about Attack on Titan, from its inception to how the manga finally concluded. Interestingly, the creator also revealed that Eren, Armin, and Mikasa are supposed to represent certain virtues throughout the story.

Isayama stated that Eren, Armin, and Mikasa represented courage, wisdom, and strength, respectively. It was also noted that the creator wanted Mikasa to represent strength because it would be interesting for a woman to take on that role in the team.

It's a great revelation and once you look back at everything that happened in Attack on Titan, the three characters truly represent these virtues. It's a brilliant move for Isayama to choose Mikasa as the representative of strength considering that she proved this repeatedly throughout the manga.

Eren, Mikasa, and Armin have played a huge role in Attack on Titan all these years. In the end, the characters stood by the virtues they represent and we're hoping that the additional eight pages that are being added to the final chapter will not change that.

Although the manga is over, the story is not yet over for the anime. Attack on Titan Season 4 Part 2 has not yet been given an official release date. However, the anime is expected to return by Winter 2022.
