Attack on Titan Episode 73 Release Delayed by Earthquake in Japan


There is little doubt that fans have been waiting for Attack on Titan Episode 73 for a long time. However, the latest episode of the anime's fourth season has been delayed after Japan experienced an earthquake that will prevent the broadcast.

Attack on Titan Season 4 Episode 14 was initially set to premiere on NHK General TV on Monday, March 15. However, an earthquake rocked the town of Yuasa in the Wakayama prefecture in Japan during the broadcast. The episode was then cut short by the network.

The earthquake reportedly measured lower 5, which is the fifth-highest level on the Japanese seismic intensity scale.

According to the Japan Meteorological Agency, the quake occurred at around 12:26 a.m. (3:26 p.m. Sunday GMT) in the northern part of the prefecture at a depth of about 10 kilometers. The estimated magnitude of the earthquake is 4.6,

For now, the agency assures that there are no fears of a tsunami. In the meantime, the Japanese government has set up a task force at the Crisis Management Center of the prime minister's office. The task force will collect more information about the earthquake in Wakayama.

NHK has not yet issued an announcement about the broadcast of Attack on Titan Episode 73. Stay tuned for more updates on this story.

Attack on Titan Season 4 Episode 14 is titled Savagery and will adapt the manga chapter of the same name. The episode was initially set to premiere on NHK General TV on Monday, March 7. The new release date for Episode 14 has not yet been announced.
