We already know that Attack on Titan Season 4 Part 2 will be released in Winter next year. It's still a long wait but fans are in for a treat before the premiere of Attack on Titan Episode 76. There will be a new volume as well as a special episode before we continue with the anime's main storyline.
The official Attack on Titan website has shared an update on the Episode 76 release date. It is confirmed that the second part of the Final Season will premiere in January 2022.
That's not the only update from Attack on Titan Season 4 Part 2. It was also revealed that "a special omnibus that looks back on the progress so far" will be broadcast ahead of the Episode 76 premiere. In addition to that, MAPPA has prepared an original animation (OAD) that will reveal the perspectives of Levi, Mikasa, and more.
This is certainly a great way to prepare for the return of Attack on Titan: The Final Season. After all, the most recent episode was released back in March and it would be great to catch up on the story so far. Additionally, we are curious to see the story from the perspective of the characters who lived through it.
For now, the release date for the special omnibus and OAD has not yet been confirmed. However, both are expected to be released before Attack on Titan Episode 76 premieres in January 2022. Stay tuned for more updates on this story.
