Artist of Marvel’s Venom Reveals An Official Art For My Hero Academia

In this current generation of anime fans, it is no surprise that Kohei Horikoshi’s hit manga series My Hero Academia is a favorite to millions worldwide. But, now, what happens if an artist of a famous western comic franchise makes an official art for the anime?

Ryan Stegman, best known for being the Marvel Comics character Venom artist, recently created official My Hero Academia artwork in line with the recent North America screenings of the third anime movie, My Hero Academia: World Heroes’ Mission. It’s the best of both worlds indeed. Anime streaming and licensing company Funimation unveiled Stegman’s art in a recent Twitter post.

Aside from being the artist for Venom, Stegman has also created art for other franchises in the Marvel Comic Universe like Fantastic Four, The Amazing Spider-Man, X-Men, Wolverine, and The Avengers. This isn’t his first time making official art for My Hero Academia, either. In fact, he created a manga cover for the series featuring the villains Shigaraki and Dabi.

My Hero Academia franchise's highly anticipated third anime film, My Hero Academia: World Heroes’ Mission, has finally made its way to North American movie theaters. It had earned $2.8 million on its opening night alone ranking in #4 in the box office. In this third movie, our main heroes Deku, Todoroki, and Bakugo have only two hours to save the world! Deku finds out that he is on the watchlist for a national crime that he didn’t commit, and it’s up to him and his friends to stop the evil plans of Humarise in eliminating all Quirks.

For those who are still waiting for screening schedules outside of North America, there is still no word as of this time. But many fans are still looking forward to finally watching this highly anticipated anime film of this popular franchise.
