Fans didn’t have to wait long for the new anime to be announced. That’s because Arknights finally revealed the Rise from Ember anime via a teaser trailer alongside its key visual.
While there aren’t a lot of details shared about the new anime, it’s still an exciting announcement for fans of both the game and the anime. After all, the teaser and the visual have some intriguing hints regarding the story.
New Arknights Anime Gets Teaser Trailer
Arknights is a tower defense gacha game that was released in China in May 2019, and it was released worldwide in January 2020.
Since then, the game has gotten a large fanbase around the world. Thanks to its success, the game inspired an anime adaptation, which premiered in October 2022.
This was soon followed by a new season titled Perish in Frost, which aired from October to November 2023.
Finally, the anime has its third season that’s officially titled Arknights: Rise from Ember. The new season’s announcement was made alongside the release of a teaser trailer.
The teaser doesn’t show much, but it does at least mean that the anime is in production.

Right now, there’s no word yet on a release date for the new Arknights anime. Given that the teaser didn’t show off much, chances are that it will be a while before we see it premiere.
Given that the first two seasons premiered in October 2022 and 2023, respectively, Rise from Ember may premiere in October 2024.
As for its episode count, it’s also a safe bet that it will have eight episodes. That’s because the previous two seasons are also only eight episodes long, which is less than a typical cour.
Arknights Rise from Ember Reveals Key Visual
The anime’s visual was highlighted at the end of the teaser trailer, and it was soon shared on the show’s official X (formerly Twitter) account.
This new visual puts Talulah front and center, indicating that she is a central character in the upcoming series. Talulah’s involvement also hints at what to expect from the new season.

How Many Arknights Chapters Will Rise of the Ember Cover? Speculations Explored
Based on fan speculation on sites like Reddit, many expect that this new anime will cover chapters 7 and 8 of the game. For reference, season 1 covered up to chapter 3 while season 2 adapted chapters 4-6.
The concern here is that eight episodes may not be enough to do the next two chapters justice. For now, fans will have to wait and see until more details are shared.
