Here's What Happened Before Arknights: Prelude to Dawn Episode 8
In Episode 7 of Arknights: Prelude to Dawn, Misha wakes up in a Reunion hideout.
Skullshatterer turns out to be Misha's brother, an infected person named Alex.
He proceeds to explain his reasons for being part of the Reunion and encourages Misha to join too.
Amiya finds the location of the hideout from Texas and Exusiai, all while Alex shows Misha how to use his Arts-powered grenade launcher.
As Rhodes Island and LGD forces start the operation to rescue Misha, W tells Skullshatterer to target the Doctor.
In the brutal fight that ensues, Hoshiguma saves the Doctor from Skullshatterer's blow.
Misha's brother then fights off Hoshiguma and manipulates his Arts to turn himself into a suicide bomb.
To prevent Skullshatterer from attacking the Doctor and likely killing him this time, Amiya uses her own Arts to pierce Skullshatterer's body.
To her horror, her blow proves fatal. A traumatized Misha breaks down after watching her brother get killed.
