There is little doubt that Ant-Man and The Wasp: Quantumania is one of the most exciting Marvel Cinematic Universe films in Phase 4. In addition to sending Scott Lang and Hope van Dyn on a mysterious new adventure, the sequel will also bring in more of Jonathan Majors' Kang the Conqueror.
So what can we expect in Ant-Man 3? Screenwriter Jeff Loveness has shared an interesting behind-the-scenes photo and it appears to have some clues on what will happen in the MCU flick.
Loveness posted the image on his Instagram account and it features the writer sitting in a hallway while working on his laptop. Although it looks like there isn't much happening in the picture, there also appears to be a storyboard leaning against the wall beside him.
We can't exactly see the storyboard clearly but that hasn't stopped fans from trying to figure out what's going on in the photos. Some have pointed out that it looks like it features Hope and Scott but we can't be too sure.
Although we are still unsure about what will happen in Ant-Man 3, fans can expect to see a different version of He Who Remains, who was played by Majors in Loki. It has already been confirmed that the character is a Variant of Kang the Conqueror and will not be the same one who appears in Quantumania.
In Loki, He Who Remains revealed that he had created the singular timeline after ending a multiversal war between his own Variants. But after he was killed by Sylvie, the multiverse was unleashed and the Variants could wreak havoc on everyone.
It is still unclear which Kang Variant will appear in Ant-Man 3 but there is little doubt that he will be a force to reckon with. Let's just hope that Scott and Hope will be able to help fix the timeline in Quantumania.
Ant-Man and The Wasp: Quantumania will be directed by Peyton Reed and also stars Paul Rudd, Evangeline Lilly, Michael Douglas, Michelle Pfeiffer, and Kathryn Newton. The film is scheduled for release on February 17, 2023.
