Ant-Man 3 Star Jonathan Majors Breaks Silence After Kang the Conqueror Casting

There is little doubt that people were thrilled when it was announced that Jonathan Majors has been cast in Ant-Man 3. So is it true that the Lovecraft Country star will portray Kang the Conqueror in the upcoming Marvel Cinematic Universe flick? Majors has finally spoken up about the casting.

Majors was recently a guest on The Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon where he promoted his HBO series. However, the host also asked the actor about his role in the third Ant-Man film and not surprisingly, Majors chose to play coy about whether he will be playing the comic book character in the MCU movie.

"Man, I heard the same thing bro. I heard the same thing. It was like, 'What? What? What?' So, you know, we apparently have the same source because I heard it too," Majors said.

We're not exactly surprised that Majors is choosing to neither confirm nor deny the casting. After all, Marvel has not yet made an official announcement about his role in Ant-Man 3. Nevertheless, we're hoping that we'll be getting an official update about this as soon as the movie starts production in the future.

Ant-Man 3 will be directed by Peyton Reed and is set to bring back Paul Rudd as Scott Lang as well as Evangeline Lilly as Hope van Dyn. Michael Douglas and Michelle Pfeiffer are also expected to reprise their roles as Hank Pym and Janet van Dyn. The film is expected to begin production in early 2021 but has not yet been given an official release date. Stay tuned for more updates on this story.
