Marvel's The Inhumans was initially made into a TV series for ABC back in 2017. Unfortunately, it only ran for a single season because the series received low ratings and underwhelming reviews. Which eventually resulted in canceling the show. But Inhumans actor Anson Mount has something to say about a potential reboot in the future.

Mount recently spoke with Comic Book at Dallas Fan Days where he talked about the possibility that Inhumans could get a reboot with new actors.

"People might not know this, but in the sort of Hollywood trades, there's rumored to be a negotiation going on with Disney+ to reattempt this," Mount revealed. He added that since it is known that Vin Diesel campaigned to play the role of Black Bolt for a while now, there's been "some kind of negotiations going on."

Mount says that he really wanted Inhumans to have another shot. He claims that he wants it to be successful because he'd love to watch it. "I think this is the most interesting little corner of the Marvel universe, and I think it just has to be done," Mount explains. He thinks that Inhumans has to have the right home, tone, and vision.

The Inhumans series came a bit flat upon its release but Mount is positive that it deserves a reboot. The actor sees a lot of potential for Inhumans, given that he gave quite a good performance as Black Bolt, even making his own version of sign language since the character is mute. Mount revealed that Black Bolt would be his number two choice for a character he would want to play, with number one being Gambit.

For now, there's no word about an Inhumans reboot yet, but it'll be great to see Marvel have another go for the show with a reboot.
