With the success of All of Us Are Dead, its cast members have gained incredible attention, too, and one of them is Lomon. So in a press interview, the budding actor reveals everything from his background to his next project and more.
Lomon’s Future After All of Us Are Dead
Lomon is thankful for the love the series has received worldwide that also gained him traction and overnight attention. “It is still unbelievable,” he said, viaAllKpop.
So from the young high-school student fans saw in the hit Netflix series, he promised to show a more mature side of himself in the future. In fact, he is now studying acting “very diligently.”
In addition, he also discussed his multicultural background, being born in Uzbekistan.
"It's true that I was born in Uzbekistan,” he admitted. “But I am descended from Koryo-people, and so I am ethnically Korean."
Koryo-people means ethnic Koreans who have lived in post-Soviet countries.
He even revealed that he grew up in Korea and went to elementary school, middle school and high school in the said Asian country. “So I rarely felt that I was different because I was from a multicultural family,” he continued.
Three Facts about the All of Us Are Dead Star Lomon
Lomon graduated from Apgujeong High School, the same school that BTS’s RM and Suga attended, per The Smart Local. Twice’s Nayeon and Jeongyeon also went there.
However, after his high school graduation, he didn’t pursue a college degree as he might have started to focus on his acting career.
Moreover, being in the same school as the now-famous idols, Lomon also dreamt of being a K-pop star. Aside from acting, he also loves dancing. In fact, he initially pursued being a singer and a dancer.
He specifically enjoys breakdancing, starting his dancing journey as a b-boy. However, after realizing singing is not for him, he pursues acting instead.
Meanwhile, many may have wondered why he’s now called Lomon and not Solomon, which he used to use.
The actor previously used his real name, but he changed it to Lomon in 2020 and officially made it his stage name.
All of Us Are Dead is the first project where he was introduced as Lomon. This is also why his Instagram handle is called @lomon99111 and he usually introduces himself as Lomon in press conferences and interviews.
Meanwhile, fans who are looking forward to seeing Lomon on the small screen again can watch him next in Third Person Plural with Shin Ye Eun soon.
