Warning: This article contains SPOILERS for Ahsoka Episode 7, so read at your own risk!
The previous episodes of Ahsoka have made a couple of references to the other Star Wars live-action, especially The Mandalorian where Rosario Dawson made her debut as live-action Ahsoka Tano before segueing into her own series.
The most significant reference that the current series has made so far to The Mandalorian is the recurring appearance of Paul Sun-Hyung Lee's Carson Teva, a loyal New Republic pilot who has previously assisted Din Djarin in his adventures around the galaxy.
It also posed the question of when exactly Ahsoka is placed in the MandoVerse timeline. Are the events happening at the same time as the third season of The Mandalorian? Or it is set after?
Fortunately, we finally have the clarification thanks to the recently-aired penultimate episode.

The Events of The Mandalorian Season 3 Was Mentioned in Ahsoka Episode 7
During the cold open of the recently-aired seventh episode of Ahsoka, Hera Syndulla was seen being investigated by the New Republic council due to her unsanctioned mission on planet Seatos. Carson Teva and Chopper were also present in the proceedings.
Senator Hamato Xioni was grilling Hera about her true intention as he accused her of doing it out of her personal agenda to find her friend Ezra Bridger. Hera hit back by iterating Grand Admiral Thrawn's potential return and the threat he'll ensue to the galaxy.
However, Xioni rejected Hera's suspicions about Thrawn and he questioned the likelihood that there are still Imperial remnants that are running around the galaxy.
This is where Carson stood up and chimed in to bring up the events of the third season of The Mandalorian when Moff Gideon tried to take over Mandalore but was defeated by Bo-Katan Kryze, Din Djarin, and the Mandalorian clans.
Xioni shot down Carson's argument by calling Gideon's actions an isolated case as there was no evidence that it was part of a bigger conspiracy.
With Carson's mention of what happened at the end of the third season of The Mandalorian, it pretty much confirmed that the current series (or at least this episode) is set after the events of that season, giving more clarity to the MandoVerse timeline.
While it was a brief moment, it was still a great easter egg for fans since it's one of the examples of how this MandoVerse shows are connected and it is likely that they will double it down further as they release more projects set in this timeline in a way that the MCU is known for doing it.
Who knows, perhaps it could lead to a surprise appearance of a regular character from The Mandalorian in the season finale next week to establish more connections and see how the events affect one another.
