The first look photo of Agatha All Along was recently released, and it gave fans their official glimpse at Agatha Harkness' post-WandaVision adventure.

The image showed the fan-favorite villain working with a group of "covenless witches" consisting of Lilia (Patti LuPone), Jennifer (Sasheer Zamata), Alice (Ali Ahn), and Sharon (Debra Jo Rupp reprising the role).

"What they have in common is that they’re covenless witches. Witches are defined by deception, treachery, villainy and selfishness. What do you do when you have a group of witches who [demonstrate] those notions and you need them to work together?" showrunner Jac Schaeffer explained.

It was also confirmed that award-winning songwriters Kristen Anderson-Lopez and Robert Lopez, who penned the infamous "Agatha All Along" song, worked on the new series to contribute new music.

While the plot details are still under wraps, Schaeffer teased that the series will riff on the tropes that we see in witchy stories.

"[Where] WandaVision played with the form of classic TV sitcoms, [here] we do a lot of playing with what the assumptions about witches are," the showrunner said.

"Like, what are the shorthand visuals for witches? We certainly didn’t want a one-dimensional nasty witch. We will have moments where we see Agatha’s true heart."

The photo didn't necessarily give out any spoiler details about the series, but it is still an exciting tease at what we could expect and it is a promising sign that they are committing to the unique tone they are accomplishing for the MCU's first witchcraft-heavy project.

Fans should expect more first-look teases at the series in the coming months leading up to its release.

Agatha All Along is set to premiere on Disney+ this September 19.
