A Business Proposal is a new SBS Kdrama starring Lovers of the Red Sky actor Ahn Hyo Seop and former Gugudan member Kim Se Jeong.
The series tells the story of an ordinary office girl who goes on a blind date instead of her friend to frighten away the prospective suitor. However, things go wrong when she finds out that the blind date was the company's CEO she is working for.

A Business Proposal Episode 2 sees Ha-ri providing countless reasons why she can’t accept Tae-mu’s marriage proposal. She takes the frustration to work and hopes that she won’t have an encounter with Tae-moo, noting that the latter is the company’s new president.
On the other hand, Young-Seo accidentally bumps into Tae-mu’s secretary and exposes her identity. She tried to get through the interrogation when she denied her close relationship with Ha-ri and because she only hired her as a proxy.
Tae-mu saw beyond Young-seo’s alibi as he found a crucial hint that says Young-seo and Ha-ri are friends. To make up for the wasted time, Tae-mu demands Young-seo to arrange a meeting with the fake Young-seo.
A Business Proposal Episode 2 also highlights Tae-mu continuously lying about having a girlfriend so that the list of blind dates would end once and for all. However, to make the lie more believable, he should present his “girlfriend” to his grandfather.
Tae-mu remembers Ha-ri, now introducing herself as Geum-hui, and plans to have her play the perfect role.
He gives her a proposal of paying her twice the price Young-seo had given her, which immediately caught Ha-ri’s attention.
It turns out that Ha-ri’s family has been struggling financially, and she had to sacrifice lots of things to make ends meet.
While in the middle of contemplating whether to accept the offer or not, Ha-ri receives a surprise visit from Tae-mu, which leads to an unexpected skinship.
