A Business Proposal is a new SBS Kdrama starring Lovers of the Red Sky actor Ahn Hyo Seop and former Gugudan member Kim Se Jeong.
The series tells the story of an ordinary office girl who goes on a blind date instead of her friend to frighten away the prospective suitor. However, things go wrong when she finds out that the blind date was the company's CEO she is working for.
A Business Proposal premiered on February 28 and immediately received a good response from the viewers. The pilot episode received an average nationwide viewership rating of 4.9%.

A Business Proposal Episode 1 Recap
A Business Proposal Episode 1 sees Kang Tae-mu skipping his own inauguration to give a lesson to one of the company’s corporate members. As he is determined to work hard in maintaining the company’s dignity and pride, he starts to rearrange the workforce and decides that he will fire those who take advantage of connections within their family.
On the other hand, Chairman Kang lists a couple of candidates that Tae-mu can go on a blind date and see if he can find a potential bride. Tae-mu was against this idea and would like to focus his time on managing the business.
However, Chairman Kang insists that he try to attend the blind dates to agree to fire Mr. Park. Tae-mu takes in the idea of his grandfather concluding the fuss about looking for his bride once he settles with a woman.
Young-Seo asks Ha-ri for help to scare away her latest blind date. After getting tempted by the high pay, Ha-ri accepts the challenge and finds out that her friend’s blind date is the company's new president.
A Business Proposal Episode 1 also highlights Ha-ri’s efforts to make herself look unpresentable and irritating, so Tae-mu will end the date and decide not to see her again. However, Tae-mu plans to get all the blind dates over with by announcing that he will marry Young-Seo.
While the two friends celebrated as they assumed the mission accomplished, Young-Seo receives a call from her father informing her about the marriage proposal. Baffled, Young-Seo persuades Ha-ri to pretend once more and try pushing him away to cancel the marriage.
Meanwhile, the situation makes it difficult for Ha-ri to report to the office. As soon as she gets inside the building, she encounters Chairman Kang and Tae-mu in the elevator.
A Business Proposal Episode 2 Release Date
A Business Proposal Episode 2 will be released on Tuesday, March 1, 2022 on SBS. New episodes will be released every Monday and Tuesday at 10:00 PM KST.
The series will also be available for online streaming on Netflix. English subtitles for the Kdrama will also be provided for easy and comfortable viewing.
