Easily sliding itself to the top of the charts for the fall anime season is Platinum End with an interesting story of chosen candidates on who will be replacing God as he retires in almost a thousand days. As fans and viewers piqued a liking to the show, many are wondering whether the series would be dubbed in English and if so, when can the release date be expected for the dub?
The story of Platinum End follows Mirai Kakehashi who has been fed up living with abuse from his aunt and uncle after his parents died. A guardian angel, Nasse, saved him from taking his life and informed him that he got powers to get the justice she deserved from her aunt and uncle who were responsible for the death of his parents.
Nasse also revealed to Mirai that God will be retiring in 999 days and he was selected to be the replacement. It is a non-negotiable choice that she couldn’t say no to. Other competitors would kill to be the next God while Mirai forms an alliance to get the position without killing anyone.
Platinum End is based on the pages of the manga series of Tsugumi Oba with the illustrations of Takeshi Obata which started serialization in Shueisha Jump Square which spanned from 2015 until early this year which signifies the end of the manga.
New episodes of Platinum End get released weekly via Crunchyroll and Funimation where it is available in its original Japanese audio and English subtitles. For the price of $9.99 a month, or $79.99 a year, Crunchyroll offers its vast library of anime shows in various countries one week earlier than its release to the general public for free when one subscribes to premium. The same goes with Funimation for the price of $5.99 monthly or $59.99 yearly.
Platinum End will span for two anime seasons, from fall to winter, as the show be having 24 episodes in a double-cour and there would be no break in between the two seasons, not counting, of course, the weekly interval of each episode.

When Will Platinum End Be Dubbed in English?
Great news as it has been announced that Platinum End will be having an English dubbed version which will be released starting November 20, 2021. While it is behind the schedule of the weekly release, much to the delight of many, Crunchyroll will finally stream the English dubbed version.
Platinum End releases new episodes on Crunchyroll and Funimation every Friday at 1:28 AM JST/ 9:28 AM PT/ 11:28 AM CT/ 12:28 PM EST/ 5:28 PM BST.
