A Second Spider-Man: No Way Home Trailer Reportedly Leaks Online

In just a few weeks, Spider-Man: No Way Home will be released in theatres, and now, a second trailer has allegedly leaked online after an unpolished version of the first teaser was shared on social media ahead of its premiere at CinemaCon in August. The new leak reveals what appears to be an unfinished and unused alternate version of the first trailer that Sony Pictures officially released about two months ago. Following the alleged leak and claims that another Spider-Man: No Way Home trailer will be released potentially with the release of Sony's Ghostbusters: Afterlife, "#SpiderManNoWayHomeTrailer" trended on Twitter, and now, fans are hyped for it.

Sony Pictures hasn't taken down the alleged leak, which appears to be legitimate and has incomplete special effects and comes with footage not revealed in the official teaser.

Ghostbusters: Afterlife is set to release on November 19, so expect Sony to release the second No Way Home trailer around that day. It's likely that fans will be treated with a surprise once the trailer comes out as it could possibly tease the appearance of Tobey Maguire and Andrew Garfield as they reprise their Spider-Men roles.

Last August, Disney and Sony immediately moved fast to take down low-quality leaks of the first trailer for No Way Home as it was shared across social media platforms. Fans looking for the leak instead found a copyright notice that reads: "The media has been disabled in response to a report from the copyright owner."

With Spider-Man's identity now revealed, our friendly neighborhood web-slinger is unmasked and no longer able to separate his normal life as Peter Parker from the high stakes of being a superhero. When Peter asks for help from Doctor Strange, the stakes become even more dangerous, forcing him to discover what it truly means to be Spider-Man.

Spider-Man: No Way Home is set to release in theatres on December 17.
