Fox has now dropped the official trailer for 9-1-1: Lone Star Season 4, giving fans a glimpse of the chaos the rest of the 128 are about to experience.
Captain Owen Strand (Rob Lowe), Captain Tommy Vega (Gina Torres), and the rest of the gang will surely have their hands full when 9-1-1: Lone Star Season 4 begins. So, are fans ready?
The Chaos that About to Hit 9-1-1: Lone Star Season 4
The first promo shows a “derecho,” a number of fast-moving thunderstorms, hits Austin, causing “hurricanic and tornadic-force winds” that also bring intense rainfall, flash floods, and huge destruction.
Surprisingly, it also causes a rain of frogs. Grace Ryder (Sierra McClain) receives the 9-1-1 call about the frogs, but as Marjan Marwani (Natacha Karam) points out, “nothing is as weird as lava at mini golf.”
However, a derecho isn’t the only natural phenomenon 9-1-1: Lone Star Season 4 will feature.
Just when they think it’s already the worst, a Heat Burst, a rare weather phenomenon that can increase the temperature to 122 degrees Fahrenheit, hits the city.
Owen’s Cancer and T.K., Carlos’ Wedding
The premiere episode trailer also touches on Owen’s cancer diagnosis in the previous season finale.
“My best life is when I have dragons to slay,” he tells Judd Ryder (Jim Parrack). “If you just wait around a minute, something awful’s bound to happen.”
In addition, the new season will also feature T.K. Strand (Ronen Rubinstein) and Office Carlos Reyes’ (Rafael L. Silva) wedding after the former’s proposal.
“I think the wedding will come at a good time. We’ll have to see when we ‘earn’ the wedding,” Rubinstein told TV Insider. “I’d like to see the journey of Tarlos as an engaged couple instead of rushing [into] marriage, which I don’t think they will. They’ve given us a beautiful storyline with room to breathe.”
