In 7th Time Loop: The Villainess Enjoys a Carefree Life Married to Her Worst Enemy!, we follow the story of Rishe Imgard Wertsner, the titular main character who finds herself stuck in a time loop!
The story begins when Rishe experiences the annulment of her engagement to the crown prince for the seventh time.
Regardless of her job or location, she always meets the same fate—dying at the age of 20, five years after the annulment.
This time, Prince Arnold of the neighboring Hyne Kingdom takes an interest in her. But the Hyne Kingdom has been the source of all problems in her previous loops, causing world war, pestilence, and even her death!
Despite her past experiences, Rishe agrees to marry Arnold under the condition that she can avoid royal duties and simply relax.
This arrangement also serves Arnold's purpose, as he gets to fulfill his father's request to have a foreign fiancée.
As time passes, Rishe begins to use her skills from her past lives to help the people of the Hyne Kingdom. Along the way, she also notices a change in Arnold.
She realizes he is not the cold person she encountered in her sixth loop, which makes her wonder why he became so closed off.
Thus begins Rishe and Arnold’s complicated and captivating love story!

Based on the trailer alone, it looks like we're in for a ride with plenty of gripping and intriguing moments between the characters, especially the main duo, Rishe and Arnold.
When Will 7th Time Loop: The Villainess Enjoys a Carefree Life Be Released?
The 7th Time Loop anime will be released on January 7, 2024, as confirmed on the series' official X (formerly Twitter) account.
The announcement came with a special voice clip highlighting the main protagonist, Rishe, as voiced by popular VA Ikumi Hasegawa (also Lena of 86).
Before then, Crunchyroll announced that it would screen the anime’s premiere on November 17, 2023, at 8:45 PM EST during Anime NYC.
The screening is scheduled as part of the Crunchyroll Stage and will take place at the River Pavilion at the Javits Center, New York.

It seems that the 7th Time Loop anime is poised to become one of Winter 2024’s big romance series as it features a voice cast composed of popular VAs.

Who Is Behind 7th Time Loop: The Villainess Enjoys a Carefree Life?
Two studios are collaborating to produce the 7th Time Loop anime, and they are Studio Kai and HORNETS.
Studio Kai has a handful of anime titles to its name, including several well-loved series such as Uma Musume: Pretty Derby Season 3 and Skeleton Knight in Another World.
On the other hand, HORNETS is a Tokyo-based studio that has co-produced notable shows such as Somali and the Forest Spirit.
Leading the anime’s staff is director Kazuya Iwata, who has worked on popular romance anime such as Rascal Does Not Dream of Bunny Girl Senpai and Love After World Domination.
In charge of the series composition is Touko Machida (Farming Life in Another World) while Kenichi Ōnuki (Golden Kamuy Season 2) is credited for the character design.
The anime's opening song, Another Birthday, is performed by Oliver VA Shunichi Toki while the ending song, Kienai, is performed by the Japanese band THE BINARY.

Crunchyroll will simulcast the 7th Time Loop anime in the US and other select regions once it debuts on January 7, 2024.
