Lee Junho’s Comeback K-drama The Red Sleeve Cuff

Lee Jun Ho last appeared in the smash hit Kdrama The Red Sleeve Cuff, where he played crown prince Yi San who became the emperor.

His chemistry with lead star Lee Se Young, who took the role of court lady Seong Deok Im, was lauded by viewers as the pair delivered heart flutter moments.

Interestingly, during the cast member appearance in MBC's Radio Star, marking the talk show's The Red Sleeve Cuff Special, the 29-year-old actress dishes out secrets and experiences while filming the K-drama.

At the time, she confessed about her kiss scene with Lee Junho, saying that it was harder for her to film the part because of her closeness with the singer-actor.

"Typically, when filming a drama, you shoot the kiss scene about one or two months into filming. But this time, I think it had been nearly four or five months by the time we filmed our first kiss scene," she said, as obtained by Soompi, adding that they all feel like a family.

Lee Junho then agreed with his co-star while the actress added, "we joked with one another, 'Family shouldn't be doing stuff like this.'"

Interestingly, Lee Se Young also revealed how the staff would react after doing an intimate scene.

She tells the host that the "staff would get way too excited" and would tease them, which of course, makes them feel embarrassed.

At the time, The Red Sleeve Cuff was one of the highest-rated K-dramas and topped the most buzzworthy drama and actor rankings for weeks.

The MBC historical K-drama was Lee Junho's comeback to the small screen after headlining the 2019 thriller mystery series Confession with Nam Ki Ae, Yoo Jae Myung and Hospital Playlist actress Shin Hyun Bin.

The Red Sleeve Cuff was also his first K-drama after his military discharge in March 2021.
